Newcastle was recently named 9 in the top 10 Lonely Planet cities for 2011. Now don’t get me wrong- I think my hometown is ace but 9th best in the world? That’s just crazytown crazy. I’d personally rather hit up any of the other cities on the list. I guess the grass is always greener on the otherside. Either way I’m going to make it my mission to explore what is so great about this place and see if I’ve missed out on something these past 19 years.
